Instead, she finds herself covering the remarkable story of Darlene Donnelly, a devoted Bears superfan about to attend her 500th game. There’s just one major complication: Avery knows practically nothing about football or Chicago.

That’s where Robert Buckley enters as Matt, Darlene’s firefighter grandson and an unwavering Bears fan. As he introduces Avery to game-day traditions, festive Chicago landmarks and the emotional history behind Darlene’s devotion to the team, the two begin to discover that a shared love of family and community can be just as powerful as a last-second touchdown.

The cast also includes Marsha Mason, Barbara Alyn Woods and Khary Payton. For fans who enjoyed Hallmark’s previous football-centered holiday stories, this could deliver the ideal combination of sports energy, hometown pride and mistletoe-ready romance.

Disney World and Biltmore Bring Movie-Event Magic

The most eye-catching title of the entire season may be Holiday Ever After: A Disney World Wish Come True, premiering November 28. Lacey Chabert leads the movie as Lindsey, a woman hoping to enjoy a magical Christmas trip to Walt Disney World with her extended family.

Her plans quickly hit a snag when she learns that the man staying next door is Philip, played by Travis Van Winkle, who also happens to be the man from a disastrous first date.

Of course, holiday magic has a way of making awkward reunions impossible to avoid. As Lindsey and Philip repeatedly cross paths during their family vacations, old frustrations begin to thaw. A wish made at Cinderella Fountain may provide the final push that turns their rivalry into something far more romantic.

Lacey Chabert Takes on Disney Magic and an Unwanted Reunion

Chabert has long been one of Hallmark’s most recognizable holiday stars, and placing her at Disney World makes this feel like a major destination movie rather than a typical seasonal premiere. Then, on December 5, Hallmark heads back to Asheville, North Carolina, with A Grand Biltmore Christmas. The new movie follows the 2023 favorite A Biltmore Christmas, though the story shifts to a new romance involving history, destiny and the mysterious magic of Biltmore House.

Holland Roden stars as Elizabeth, a woman who first visited Biltmore as a 13-year-old in 1895. During that childhood visit, she helps a teenage boy named Michael after he’s caught trespassing.

The pair form an immediate bond while exploring the estate, but Michael vanishes without explanation. Twenty years later, Elizabeth returns to Biltmore and comes face to face with Michael again, now played by Niall Matter.

The shocking part is that Michael is from the modern era. A magical hourglass transported him to the past, and Elizabeth suddenly finds herself pulled into his present-day world.

With pressure mounting to return to 1915 and a life that’s already been planned for her, Elizabeth must choose whether to follow tradition or follow her heart. Andie MacDowell, Jonathan Frakes, Rachel Boston and Wes Brown are among the standout names in the ensemble.

The Rest of the Schedule Is Full of Familiar Faces and Festive Chaos

While the big event movies may command the loudest buzz, the wider lineup has no shortage of promising pairings. The season opens with Tis the Season for Setups on October 16, starring Amanda Schull, Victor Webster and Barbara Niven.

It’s followed by Brendan Penny and Pascale Hutton in Mr. and Mrs. Christmas, while Ashley Newbrough and Franco Lo Presti take over October 23 with Winter Wonderlanes.

Decades later, Santa finds the missing letter and starts making those childhood wishes come true. That creates total chaos in Jake’s practical adult life, just as his childhood best friend Julie returns home.

December brings even more seasonal escapism, including The Snowflake Effect, An Angel in My Stocking, Christmas in Canterbury, Snow Globe Town, Noelle Nomads, Hearts All Aglow and Barking All the Way.
