The Christmas Mystery With More Than Presents to Unwrap

Romance may dominate Hallmark’s holiday schedule, but November’s biggest returning series has something darker beneath the tinsel. Mistletoe Murders is back, and its heroine’s carefully guarded past is getting harder to hide.

Mistletoe Murders Season 3 Arrives November 5

Sarah Drew and Peter Mooney return Thursday, November 5, at 8 p.m. ET on Hallmark Channel, with Emily Lane and Detective Sam Wilner investigating three new Christmas mysteries. Sam now knows Emily’s real name is Grace, but that revelation doesn’t explain everything.

Her past involvement with a hacker group that became a domestic terror cell resurfaces when former partner Aaron, played by Aaron Ashmore, reappears. Catherine Bell and Holly Robinson Peete also guest-star.

Episodes air Thursdays, although the November 26 installment shifts to 10 p.m. ET. Hallmark+ begins streaming the season November 6, with new episodes on Fridays.

Early November Brings Family Secrets and Second Chances

The opening stretch leans into the ingredients Hallmark fans know best: homecomings, complicated families, and unexpected connections. Beneath those cozy setups, though, are stories about grief, changing priorities, and learning to loosen your grip.

A Danish Christmas and Merry Memories

A Danish Christmas stars Emilie Ullerup as Marie, a hotel technology executive returning to Copenhagen as her mother considers selling the family inn. Mistaking guest Ryan, played by Corey Sevier, for a travel writer, she organizes a Christmas tour to generate publicity.

Naturally, the real journalist’s arrival complicates her growing attraction. In Merry Memories, Lindura plays perfectionist accountant Michaela, who helps care for her nephew Danny while his mother is deployed. Making a holiday scrapbook brings her together with his spontaneous substitute teacher Bryan, played by Brendan Morgan.

Holiday Unplugged and A Season of Promises

Nikki DeLoach’s Holiday Unplugged follows widow Sally as she considers romance with former colleague Damon, played by Juan Pablo Di Pace. Meanwhile, treasured videos of her late husband vanish after a server migration.

Sally declares a screen-free Christmas while secretly trying to recover them. A Season of Promises pairs Brooke D’Orsay and Ali Liebert as estranged sisters trying to find love for their widowed father, played by James Denton. Their matchmaking mission gives them a chance to repair their own relationship.

Midmonth Turns Up the Romantic Chaos

This is where the lineup gets especially playful. Expect an old college grievance, a Christmas Eve that refuses to end, and a holiday competition with romantic consequences.

My Christmas Cowboy and The Nights Before Christmas

My Christmas Cowboy stars Amy Acker as Texas news producer Meg, who still resents former college crush Billy Kane. Played by Luke Macfarlane, Billy returns home after an on-air mishap and hosts the Reindeer Roundup at her father’s ranch.

Riding lessons and renewed chemistry follow, with Sara Canning also starring. Tyler Hynes leads The Nights Before Christmas as Marty, a man repeatedly reliving Christmas Eve. The novelty wears off when he falls for unemployed journalist Chloe, played by Laci J. Mailey, who forgets him whenever the day resets. Winning her over is tricky when every morning erases his progress.

Mistletoe and Mimosas Raises the Stakes

Tamera Mowry-Housley plays consultant Claire Bennett, who inherits her uncle’s Christmas bar alongside considerable debt. Kristoffer Polaha is Zach, a rival club’s manager and part-owner who offers to buy it.

Their 12-day competition will decide whether he helps her find another buyer or she considers his offer. But attraction threatens to derail their business arrangement.

Fake Dating, Twin Confusion, and a Small-Town Fresh Start

The next batch offers three different routes to holiday romance. Whether your weakness is competitive family gatherings or mistaken identities, Hallmark has you covered.

Our Holiday Playbook

Taylor Cole’s Lexi recruits former football star Eddie, played by Charles Michael Davis, for her family’s Christmas flag football showdown. He agrees to pose as her boyfriend and strengthen the team, while she helps him prepare for his family’s baking competition.

That’s a lot of teamwork for two people supposedly pretending.

Christmas in Blue Dog Valley and Double Booked for the Holidays

In Christmas in Blue Dog Valley, Erin Cahill plays veterinarian Goldie, who buys a family-run animal clinic and clashes with Cohen, the previous owner’s son, played by Andrew Walker. He eventually helps her connect with the community.

Double Booked for the Holidays sends Rachael Leigh Cook to Wales as twins Abigail and Charlie for their first Christmas without their mother. Running an Airbnb and bookshop in Hay-on-Wye brings romance with barista Tom, played by Owain Yeoman, and Lord Rhys, played by Stephen Hagan. Neither man realizes there are two sisters.

Thanksgiving Weekend Is the Main Event

November 26–29 brings seven new movies, so this is the stretch to plan around. Alongside the usual evening premieres, the schedule includes earlier releases.

Tree Deliveries, Family Feasts, and Santa’s Delayed Response

Christmas Delivered pairs Autumn Reeser and Wes Brown as a vacationing technology expert and a Christmas tree farmer whose delivery app needs rescuing. The Christmas Eve Feast, premiering at 6 p.m. ET, stars Daniella Monet as Silvy, who takes over her family’s Feast of the Seven Fishes preparations.

She connects with photographer Ethan, played by Kevin McGarry. In Return to Santa, Paul Campbell’s adult Jake unexpectedly receives the childhood wishes Santa overlooked decades earlier. Rachel Boston plays Julie, his childhood best friend, helping him navigate the resulting chaos.

Disney Magic, Hanukkah Memories, and One Snowbound Road Trip

The Most Wonderful Secret teams Tammin Sursok and Peter Porte for a Christmas scavenger hunt, a revived block party, and an agreement involving his mother’s house. Meanwhile, Holiday Ever After: A Disney World Wish Come True puts Lacey Chabert alongside disastrous first date Travis Van Winkle during a family vacation. Richard Kind also stars.

Eight Nights for Love gives Hunter King an antique menorah that transports her through moments from her life, prompting her to reconsider her feelings for best friend Ethan, played by Dan Jeannotte. Finally, Miles to Christmas stars Ashley Williams, Steve Lund, and Alison Sweeney in a storm-disrupted journey from Chicago to Tennessee, premiering November 29 at 8 p.m. ET.

The Streaming Detail Worth Checking

Hallmark+ offers next-day access to the new Countdown to Christmas movies. It makes catching up a lot easier than keeping every premiere night free.

One Date Has a Calendar Problem

The published listing places Miles to Christmas on Hallmark+ November 30, but incorrectly labels the date as Friday. Its television premiere is confirmed, though it’s worth double-checking the streaming date closer to release. With so much holiday programming arriving, that’s one scheduling surprise you’ll want to avoid.

Christmas Market Closures

Due to econonic conditions and tariffs, some Christmas Markets may cancel their events due to lack of vendors. If you are aware of a closed market,or find errors on a listing or an image, please reach out on our Contact Us page so that we may update this post.
