Hallmark’s Perfect Match Cast and Their Real-Life Partners
In Hallmark’s 2015 romance Perfect Match, a bride and groom who can’t agree on their wedding hire two planners who clash over nearly everything. Naturally, those planners become the real love story. Off-screen, though, the cast’s relationships have taken less predictable turns: a leading lady found a husband who writes roles for her, a leading man built a family with his fiancée, and one actor may have quietly introduced someone special to the world. Here’s what we know about the people behind the movie’s happily-ever-afters.
The romantic leads have love stories of their own
Danica McKellar and Paul Greene play the planners whose competing ideas turn into chemistry. Away from the set, both have found partners who share more than their personal lives: they’ve collaborated, too.
Danica McKellar’s husband writes with her in mind
McKellar married insurance lawyer Scott Sveslosky in Hawaii in 2014, shortly before filming Perfect Match. Their marriage has become a creative partnership, too. Sveslosky, a former model, has written films featuring his wife, including the Hallmark movie Campfire Kiss.
McKellar has said he sometimes turns her passing comments about dream roles into scripts. They both brought children from previous marriages into the relationship, and their blended family lives in Tennessee. For a performer whose work is full of romantic surprises, having a husband willing to write her a part feels like a particularly fitting twist.
Paul Greene and Katie Austin built a partnership beyond acting
Perfect Match was Greene’s first Hallmark Channel leading role, but his off-screen romance has had several chapters. Previously married to Angi Fletcher, he became engaged to Australian actor and life coach Katie Austin after proposing in Italy in 2019. They welcomed their son, Austin, in 2021. Greene also has a child from his first marriage. As of the source’s 2026 reporting, Greene and Austin hadn’t married.
The couple work together on a coaching program called Freedom Alchemist. Austin draws on her experience in emotional coaching, while Greene brings his background in nutrition, food, and fitness. Their relationship has grown alongside their family and work.
The movie’s engaged couple took different paths off-screen
Elise Gatien and Anthony Konechny play Lucy and Paul, the bride and groom whose disagreements set the plot in motion. In real life, one has married and expanded her family, while the other has kept a possible new romance largely private.
Elise Gatien married Stu Jameson after becoming a parent
Gatien and Stu Jameson welcomed a baby in 2020, then married in a simple ceremony less than three months later. In 2026, Gatien shared that they were expecting a second child. The actor, who later appeared in Season 5 of Virgin River, occasionally offers glimpses of family adventures, from boating to skiing.
Jameson keeps a much lower public profile and works as a production planner for ATCO Structures. He’s also held other roles in the construction industry. Their professions may be different, but the snapshots Gatien shares suggest they have plenty to enjoy together outside work.
Anthony Konechny may have quietly revealed a relationship
Konechny, who played Lucy’s groom, wasn’t married as of the source’s 2026 reporting. In December 2025, though, he posted Instagram photos with a woman named Madison Nylund, captioning the collection with a heart emoji. The images showed affectionate moments, winery dates, and travels, suggesting a relationship without saying much about it publicly.
Nylund’s account is private. She works as a registered clinical counsellor at Well Health Counselling and lives in the Greater Vancouver area, where Konechny was born and raised. For now, it’s more accurate to call this a possible romance than to assume the pair have confirmed every detail of their relationship.
Some of the movie’s supporting cast have opened small windows onto their home lives. Marco Soriano and Meghan Gardiner have each built a lasting partnership, though one couple works in different fields and the other has even played spouses on-screen.
Marco Soriano and his husband had a matching Valentine’s Day idea
Soriano, who played Sal, lives in Vancouver with his husband, Michal Le Fou. The actor and writer has kept their wedding details private, and Le Fou also stays largely out of the spotlight. Soriano has shared that his husband worked toward a PhD at the University of British Columbia, while Le Fou posts photos from his travels.
One especially sweet moment came on Valentine’s Day 2025: without coordinating, the two gave each other white tulips. Soriano has also shared a warm photo with Le Fou’s mother. Between acting workshops and his work with the Italian theatre company he co-founded, BellaLuna Productions, he seems to make room for family.
Meghan Gardiner married a fellow actor
Gardiner, who played Felicia, is married to Canadian actor Todd Thomson. They welcomed a child in 2012 and live in Vancouver. Thomson has worked across theatre, television, and film, with a credit in Fifty Shades Freed. Gardiner is also a writer and performer whose work includes the one-woman show Dissolve.
Their careers have overlapped more directly, too: they appeared together in V.C. Andrews’ Heaven, playing an on-screen married couple. Thomson has also run an acting coaching studio, bringing another professional connection into a household already full of performers.
For two cast members, the story is about love after change
Not every real-life update points toward a new romance. Linda Gray and Beverley Breuer’s histories are reminders that relationships can end, begin again, or simply become one part of a full life.
Linda Gray is content on her own
Gray, who played Gabby Taylor in Perfect Match, married art director and photographer Ed Thrasher in 1962. They had two children and divorced in 1983. Gray has since spoken about the tension between her acting ambitions and her husband’s expectations, while also looking back on their marriage with warmth rather than regret.
As of 2026, the Dallas star was single. She has said she’s open to meeting someone but isn’t searching, preferring to enjoy time with friends and family. It’s a satisfying answer from someone who knows a happy ending doesn’t have to involve a wedding.
Beverley Breuer found love again after divorce
Breuer, who played Francine, married Jacob George Breuer in 1973. They divorced in 2002, but she kept his surname as her professional name. Five years later, she married Lee Binns.
Binns appears to prefer life outside the entertainment spotlight, and little about their marriage is public. Breuer has continued acting in other Hallmark romances, including A December Bride and A Tale of Two Christmases. Her own story has had a second chapter away from the cameras.
