Lacey Chabert’s Disney World Christmas Movie: Cast and Premiere

A Christmas movie filmed at Walt Disney World is coming to Hallmark Channel, but fans don’t have to wait until the premiere to get a little holiday magic. Holiday Ever After: A Disney World Wish Come True brings together a familiar Hallmark romance, a cast led by Lacey Chabert, a Disney Springs pop-up shop and a merchandise collection that’s already on sale. Here’s what to know about the story, the stars and how to experience the collaboration before the movie arrives.

A Disney World Christmas With an Awkward Twist

The setup sounds like an ideal holiday escape: Lindsey takes her extended family to Walt Disney World for Christmas. Then she finds out that her room is next door to Philip, a man she knows from a disastrous first date. He’s visiting with his own family, so an easy escape from their awkward history seems unlikely.

Disney World is more than a festive backdrop for the pair. A wish Lindsey makes at Cinderella Fountain could change the course of their relationship and turn a rivalry into something neither of them expected.

Lacey Chabert and Travis Van Winkle Lead the Cast

Chabert plays Lindsey, opposite Travis Van Winkle as Philip. The supporting cast includes Richard Kind, Christy Carlson Romano, Bryce Durfee, Taegen Burns and Asher Alexander, with Patrick Renna making a cameo. Together, they bring a story to life about two family trips that take an unexpectedly romantic turn.

The movie is the first original film made together by Hallmark Channel and Walt Disney World. That makes it more than another seasonal romance with a recognizable setting: the Disney World trip is central to the story.

When and Where to Watch

Holiday Ever After: A Disney World Wish Come True premieres Saturday, November 28, 2026, at 8/7c on Hallmark Channel. It’s part of the network’s 17th annual Countdown to Christmas lineup and will stream the next day on Hallmark+.

That gives viewers two ways to watch for the first time. If you enjoy a premiere-night holiday event, tune in Saturday. Subscribers who’d rather watch on their own schedule can catch it Sunday.

Disney Parks Are Part of the Picture

Images released for the movie show scenes at Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney Springs. For Disney World fans, that’s another reason to watch: you can spot familiar places as Lindsey and Philip’s story unfolds.

The park and shopping-district settings also help explain the bigger rollout. Hallmark and Disney are bringing the collaboration off-screen with products and a temporary storefront at Disney Springs.

The Disney Springs Pop-Up Has Arrived

Fans who want to experience the collaboration before November can visit the Hallmark Holiday Pop-Up at Disney Springs. It opened Wednesday, October 7, in Town Center, in the former Francesca’s storefront near Frontera Cocina.

The shop carries merchandise from the movie collection, along with Hallmark greeting cards, ornaments and Disney gifts. It’s an early stop for anyone drawn to the film’s holiday atmosphere, whether they’re there for the romance, the Disney setting or both.

You Do Not Need a Park Ticket

The pop-up is at Disney Springs, not inside a theme park, so no park ticket is required to visit. Garage parking is free, too. That makes the store accessible to local shoppers and visitors who may not have a park day planned.

It’s also the first part of the movie-store-merchandise rollout that guests can visit in person. The film premieres in late November, but the holiday shopping tie-in is already underway.

What Is in the Holiday Ever After Collection?

As of the October 3 update, the Holiday Ever After collection had grown to 42 items on Hallmark.com. The lineup includes pieces from Loungefly, Vera Bradley, Spirit Jersey and Corkcicle, giving fans a few different ways to bring the collaboration home.

The collection is also headed to Disney Parks, select Hallmark Gold Crown stores and select Kohl’s and Walmart locations. Availability may vary by retailer, but there’s no need to wait for those additional destinations: the collection is already on sale through Hallmark’s website.

One Timeline Detail Worth Clearing Up

Disney’s update still says the collection arrives next holiday season. According to Fantasy Land News, that wording was left over from the original December 2025 announcement and doesn’t reflect the current online launch.

In practical terms, there are three dates to keep straight: the collection is on sale now, the Disney Springs pop-up opened October 7, and the movie premieres November 28. Anyone looking for a film-inspired item can start shopping well before premiere night.

Why This Collaboration Has a Longer History Than You Might Think

The project may feel new, but Hallmark and Disney have a much longer history together. Hallmark’s Darren Abbott has linked it to a Kansas City friendship between Hallmark founder J.C. Hall and Walt Disney. That connection led to Hallmark’s first licensed products, including the first greeting card featuring Mickey Mouse.

Hallmark says the Holiday Ever After collection brings its products back to Disney Parks for the first time since the 1980s. That gives the merchandise launch another dimension: it’s not just a set of products tied to a new movie, but a return to a partnership with decades-old roots.

A Holiday Launch With Three Ways In

The appeal of this project depends on what kind of fan you are. Hallmark viewers get a Christmas romance starring Chabert, Disney World regulars get a story filmed across familiar destinations, and collectors get a substantial product lineup to browse. The Disney Springs store brings those interests together before anyone has seen the finished film.

For now, the central question is whether a wish at Cinderella Fountain can help Lindsey and Philip get past that terrible first date. Viewers will find out when Holiday Ever After: A Disney World Wish Come True premieres on Hallmark Channel on November 28.
