Hallmark’s October 2026 Movie Lineup: Every Premiere Date
Hallmark’s October 2026 schedule starts with a medieval knight in modern-day Chicago, takes a detour through a Halloween haunting, and then heads straight for Christmas. Ten new movies premiere throughout the month, with the Countdown to Christmas lineup beginning October 16. Whether you’re in the mood for second chances, holiday matchmaking, football fandom, or a possible brush with Santa, here’s what to watch and when to tune in. All listed premieres air at 8 p.m. ET on Hallmark Channel.
October Begins With a Little Halloween Magic
Before the Christmas decorations take over, Hallmark has two Fall into Love premieres lined up. Both put a supernatural spin on a familiar romantic question: what happens when someone finally lets down their guard?
Saturday, October 3: A Knight Appears in Chicago
Julie Gonzalo stars as Emily Porter, a museum conservator whose restoration project gets much more complicated when she kisses a centuries-old statue. Its subject, Sir Griffin de Beauford, comes to life, played by James Trevena as a medieval knight suddenly faced with Chicago, pumpkin spice lattes, and a Halloween fayre.
Emily helps Griffin navigate the present, while an FBI investigation led by her ex-husband adds pressure to an already impossible situation. A rare celestial conjunction could determine Griffin’s fate. Emily must decide whether protecting her heart is worth missing a romance that seems written in the stars.
Saturday, October 10: Halloween Gets Its Own Ghostly Wake-Up Call
Meghan Ory plays Everly Stone, a successful bridal designer who would rather work than revisit the Halloween fire-station party where her heart was broken. Then her late mentor appears with a warning. Three spirits guide Everly through the joy she has lost, the people she’s keeping at a distance, and the future she risks passing up.
Kevin McGarry co-stars as Beau Madison, a longtime friend whose feelings may not be entirely in the past. It’s a Halloween romance built around a tempting possibility: the night Everly has dreaded for years might be the one that helps her heal.
Countdown to Christmas Starts October 16
Hallmark doesn’t ease into the holiday season. Its first Christmas weekend brings three premieres in three days, moving from a ski lodge to Chicago Bears territory and then to a small-town Christmas market.
Friday, October 16: Matchmaking at the Ski Lodge
Amanda Schull stars as Lexi, an organized party planner hired to arrange a ski resort’s annual Christmas celebration. She arrives with her teenage daughter and her free-spirited mother, June, played by Barbara Niven. Victor Webster plays Ridge, a ski instructor and the resort owner’s son, who clashes with Lexi almost immediately.
Despite their differences, Lexi and Ridge spot a potential romance between June and Ridge’s father, Dan. Their plans to bring the older pair together keep turning into outings for four. So which couple is really being matched?
Saturday, October 17: The Chicago Bears Join the Holiday Lineup
Football takes center stage when freelance reporter Avery Clark, played by Lyndsy Fonseca, returns to Chicago for Christmas and lands a story about Darlene Donnelly. Played by Marsha Mason, Darlene is a devoted Bears fan approaching her 500th game. Avery knows little about the team, so Darlene’s grandson Matt, a firefighter and fellow fan played by Robert Buckley, becomes her guide.
The movie features Bears coach Ben Johnson, quarterback Caleb Williams, other current players, team alumni, and mascot Staley Da Bear. At its heart, though, it’s about Darlene’s connection to the team, the memories tied to game day, and Avery’s growing sense that home might be worth staying for.
Sunday, October 18: A Christmas Market Brings Two Newcomers Together
Brendan Penny plays Taylor Lewis, a single father and holiday display expert who moves to Pineway with his children shortly before Christmas. He’s tasked with reviving the town’s Christmas market and teams up with Sophie Shaw, a practical accountant played by Pascale Hutton. She hopes the project will prove she’s ready for a leadership role.
The market gives them plenty of chances to connect, but Taylor faces a tougher challenge at home. His teenage daughter seems to be growing beyond their old traditions, and his attempts to keep Christmas the way it was don’t go as planned.
Second Chances Take Over the Following Weekend
The October 23–25 premieres ask what people are willing to change for love. One heroine considers staying in her hometown, another revisits a relationship her boyfriend can’t remember, and a third gets an unexpected glimpse of the career she gave up.
Friday, October 23: One Last Season at Wonderlanes
Ashley Newbrough plays Audrey Bell, a traveling pop-up restaurateur who comes home for Thanksgiving and learns that her late grandfather’s bowling alley, Wonderlanes, is going to be sold. She stays to revive its youth bowling tournament and reluctantly enlists local reporter Jason Miller, played by Franco Lo Presti, to help spread the word.
Jason is also Audrey’s high school boyfriend. As they work together, their old feelings return, along with a difficult choice for Audrey: keep up the life that keeps her moving, or put down roots near the people and place she loves.
Saturday, October 24: He Forgets Their Entire Romance
Janel Parrish stars as Kathryn Liu, who panics when her boyfriend Rob, played by Daniel Lissing, proposes before Christmas. She leaves without answering, and then Rob has a car accident and loses his memories of the past year, including their relationship and his love of Christmas.
On his doctor’s unusual advice, Kathryn retraces their romance with him, hoping to help those memories return. But every step toward restoring Rob’s past brings Kathryn closer to the answer she was too frightened to give.
Sunday, October 25: A Dream Career Comes With a Catch
Lori Loughlin plays Erin, who has spent years supporting her heart surgeon husband Adam, played by Tom Cavanagh, and organizing Christmas charity galas. When Adam changes hospitals, Erin feels adrift and starts thinking about the fashion-design career she never pursued.
A heart-shaped ornament sends her into an alternate reality where she’s a world-famous designer. Her ambition has come true, but life at the top feels lonely. Meeting another version of Adam helps Erin reconsider what she wants from her work and her marriage.
October Ends With Two Stories About Finding Your People
The month closes with a full Christmas Eve table and an unlikely friendship at a retirement community. Both films focus on making room for others, even when life hasn’t followed the plan.
Friday, October 30: Will Christmas Dinner Have Any Guests?
Rhiannon Fish stars as Julie, who has recently moved to a new town with belongings inherited from her grandmother. Among them is a dining table she hopes to fill with eight people on Christmas Eve, though she hasn’t settled the guest list.
Julie begins making friends, including neighbor Mark, played by Jake Foy, and his daughter Vanessa, played by Mila Morgan. When bad weather disrupts their dinner plans, it may take a few small Christmas miracles to fill the remaining seats.
Saturday, October 31: A Santa Lookalike Changes Everything
Amy Groening plays Maren, a single mother who runs her late father’s hardware store. She’s usually the first person to help anyone else. Her daughter Leah joins a Christmas Companions program at a retirement community and is paired with Kris, a resident who looks remarkably like Santa Claus.
When the program’s community room project runs into trouble, Maren offers to put her repair skills to work. That brings her closer to Reid, the center’s operations director, who travels frequently and is played by Michael Rady. As Leah bonds with Kris, Maren and Reid must each consider whether the place they’ve found could become home.
