Hallmark Christmas Movies 2026: Schedule and Premiere Dates
Cancel your plans, claim the comfiest spot on the couch and get ready for a seriously packed holiday watchlist. Hallmark Channel’s 2026 Countdown to Christmas is bringing a record-breaking 34 new original holiday movies, with familiar favorites, unexpected pairings and a Disney World romance all vying for your attention. Add the return of Mistletoe Murders, a Thanksgiving weekend full of double premieres and next-day streaming on Hallmark+, and your biggest seasonal challenge might be deciding what to watch first. Here’s how to navigate the festive lineup without missing the movies most likely to become your next cozy obsession.
Hallmark Is Going Bigger Than Ever This Christmas
Hallmark isn’t exactly known for holding back during the holidays, but this year’s slate sets a new Countdown to Christmas record. With 34 original movies on the calendar, the channel is giving viewers plenty of reasons to keep the blankets handy through December.
The main premiere nights are Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, usually at 8 p.m. ET. November alone features 18 new holiday titles, starting with A Danish Christmas on November 1. Thanksgiving weekend also brings several earlier showings worth flagging.
The Familiar Faces Are Half the Fun
Lacey Chabert, Tyler Hynes, Nikki DeLoach, Andrew Walker and Alison Sweeney are among the familiar names appearing across the schedule. That lineup alone should make longtime Hallmark viewers feel right at home.
But there’s more to the appeal than returning stars. The titles promise everything from cowboy romance and holiday hospitality to Hanukkah celebrations and Disney World magic. If your ideal December means switching between different kinds of seasonal escapism, this slate offers plenty of variety.
Your November Movie Calendar Starts Here
The November schedule moves quickly, so this is the part to bookmark before your weekends fill up. Unless noted otherwise, the following movies premiere at 8 p.m. ET on Hallmark Channel.
The early stretch includes Merry Memories on November 6. Then a run of star-led premieres keeps the festive momentum going into Thanksgiving week.
The Early and Mid-November Premieres
- November 7: Holiday Unplugged, starring Nikki DeLoach and Juan Pablo Di Pace.
- November 8: A Season of Promises, featuring Brooke D’Orsay, Ali Liebert and James Denton.
- November 13: My Christmas Cowboy, starring Amy Acker, Luke Macfarlane and Sara Canning.
- November 14: The Nights Before Christmas, pairing Tyler Hynes with Laci J. Mailey.
- November 15: Mistletoe and Mimosas, starring Tamera Mowry-Housley and Kristoffer Polaha.
- November 20: Our Holiday Playbook, featuring Taylor Cole and Charles Michael Davis.
- November 21: Christmas in Blue Dog Valley, starring Erin Cahill and Andrew Walker.
- November 22: Double Booked for the Holidays, featuring Rachael Leigh Cook, Stephen Hagan and Owain Yeoman.
For fans who build their watchlists around favorite performers, this stretch makes for some difficult choices. Hynes gets a November 14 spotlight, and Walker follows a week later, making consecutive Saturday nights especially tempting for Hallmark regulars.
Thanksgiving Weekend Is the Real Scheduling Showdown
If the regular November lineup looks busy, Thanksgiving weekend takes things up another notch. Hallmark has premieres scheduled from November 26 through November 29, with three days featuring two new movies each.
That means checking the time matters just as much as checking the date. Several movies start at 6 p.m. ET instead of the usual 8 p.m., so waiting until your normal evening viewing time could mean missing a whole premiere.
Every Thanksgiving Weekend Movie to Save
- November 26, 8 p.m. ET: Christmas Delivered, starring Autumn Reeser and Wes Brown.
- November 27, 6 p.m. ET: The Christmas Eve Feast, featuring Daniella Monet and Kevin McGarry.
- November 27, 8 p.m. ET: Return to Santa, starring Paul Campbell and Rachel Boston.
- November 28, 6 p.m. ET: The Most Wonderful Secret, featuring Tammin Sursok and Peter Porte.
- November 28, 8 p.m. ET: Holiday Ever After: A Disney World Wish Come True, starring Lacey Chabert, Travis Van Winkle and Richard Kind.
- November 29, 6 p.m. ET: Eight Nights for Love, featuring Hunter King and Dan Jeannotte.
- November 29, 8 p.m. ET: Miles to Christmas, starring Ashley Williams, Steve Lund and Alison Sweeney.
The Disney World title is an obvious attention-grabber, especially with Chabert leading the cast. And Victorious fans have an extra reason to circle The Christmas Eve Feast, with Daniella Monet in the holiday pairing.
Mistletoe Murders Returns With Unfinished Business
Not every festive evening needs to revolve around a movie romance. Mistletoe Murders adds a mystery to the holiday schedule, with Season 3 premiering Thursday, November 5, at 8 p.m. ET.
Sarah Drew returns as Christmas shop owner Emily Lane, alongside Peter Mooney as Detective Sam Wilner. Season 2 ended on a big cliffhanger, leaving the new season with a particularly compelling loose end to address.
The Returning Cast and One Important Time Change
Aaron Ashmore also returns as Emily’s former partner, Aaron, while Catherine Bell and Holly Robinson Peete make guest appearances. Drew has said she’s eager to resolve the previous season’s cliffhanger, giving returning viewers another reason to tune in.
New episodes air on Thursdays, but the November 26 episode shifts to 10 p.m. ET. Save that Thanksgiving exception now, especially if you plan to watch Christmas Delivered earlier that evening.
How to Stream the Lineup and What Comes Next
A packed premiere calendar doesn’t have to mean choosing television over every holiday invitation. Each new movie streams on Hallmark+ the day after its Hallmark Channel premiere, so you can catch up when it suits you.
Mistletoe Murders follows the same next-day pattern, with new Season 3 episodes arriving on Hallmark+ on Fridays. If you need the backstory, Seasons 1 and 2 have been streaming on Netflix in the United States since November 1.
December Opens With a Magical Bad-Luck Twist
The premieres continue into December, starting with The Snowflake Effect on Friday, December 4, at 8 p.m. ET. Heather Hemmens plays a corporate attorney whose encounter with a magical antique snowflake leaves her cursed with everyone else’s bad luck.
It’s an intriguing setup for the next stretch of Hallmark’s seasonal marathon. Between that supernatural complication, the Disney World wish and a mystery waiting to be untangled, this year’s biggest holiday luxury might simply be a free evening.
