2) Holiday Lights at Baton Rouge General

I checked out Holiday Lights at Baton Rouge General and honestly, it’s a unique light show. The hospital’s greenspace glows with singing, twinkling lights that move with the music.

This one’s a walking path, not a drive-thru. I strolled through displays like lighted tunnels, candy canes, and snowmen.

Three huge “dancing-light” trees and a giant ornament you can walk through really stand out. Kids love posing with the Santa hat and the oversized presents.

Everything happens outdoors on the hospital lawn. The light show usually runs for several weeks, but this year they’ve closed it and plan to bring it back for 2025.

4) LARC’s Acadian Village

5) Celebration in the Oaks Warehouse

8) Candy Cane Lane

Every year, I make a point to visit Candy Cane Lane for its huge light display and easy parking. This drive-through experience stretches over 1.25 miles, and I’m not kidding—there are more than a million lights.

13) Gulfport Harbor Lights Winter Festival
